Fellow Ibeters,
Robert Hughes (who else?) discovered a record early fall Purple Sandpiper at the end of Montrose Point's Fishook Pier this morning. It remains past noon (12:45 p.m. reported by Lin Johnston) at the end of the Pier just past the red small tower along the sidewalk and crevices of the pier. It's very tame please take care not to flush the Purple Sandpiper.
Passerine migrants, particularly warblers, again were "gangbusters" at the Sanctuary once again today like yesterday!
Good Birding to All!
