Hi everybody happy fall!
Today and yesterday I had a flycatcher in my yard in Park Ridge. Yesterday was a least and I think it was an immature. Today I couldn’t be sure because it was at the top of the tree that all the other birds like to perch atop and it had a thick bill but it looked too light to be olive sided though I think I had one last fall; I’ll check my video later. And I’m also pretty sure I had a migrant two other times in the last few days but I didn’t get a good look at those.
I think I saw a bald eagle flying here yesterday evening which would be my first one in town that I recall, and I’ve been waiting to see one! But since I wasn’t sure I can’t really count it yet.
