Hello Bird People,
Shorebirds continue here so I came to see them. But like last time
duck numbers were down & I don't know why? Lots of P.B. Grebes & Coots
continued as well & I had 2 Lapland Longspurs at the East Pond.

Canada Goose (~75, all in flight)

Pectoral Sandpiper (2)
LONG BILLED DOWITCHER (2, continuing)
Wilson's Snipe (14)

AMERICAN PIPIT (4)
Land Birds
Had 12 species of land birds today including an amazing 50-60
Mourning Doves along Rohrsen Road. Also 4 species of Sparrows & 5
Crows on the mud flats of the West Pond.
Had a total of 27 species at Muirhead plus one roadside addition for a
total of 28.
Bird-Of-The-Day will be the Lapland Longspurs & Runners-Up will be the
Pipits & Dowitchers.
