Was taking our dog out around 11:30 and heard at least three Sora
calling from the preserve behind our house. While listening, then also
a Virginia Rail. Confirmed both with Merlin, but the calls were clear
and persistent for over half an hour.
Earlier today had a Hermit Thrush.
