The last photo I sent for review to the group regarding Wood Thrush vs Brown Thrasher (a couple weeks ago) was of poor quality, but at least the bird's tail was in the photo.
This time, it's a better photo, but no tail is obvious. This location was at least 700 feet from where I saw the first Brown Thrasher, and this was in a far more open area next to a field of corn on the neighbor's side, and our side of the fence is an open, 20ish acre pasture.
I'm assuming it's a Brown Thrasher, again - mostly because while we have many mature trees, we don't really have dense woods anywhere, and the slightly downward curving bill versus the images of the Wood Thrush that I viewed.
But, I would appreciate an expert's review.
Happy Independence Day!
