to IBET - Illinois Birders Exchanging Thoughts
Hello Bird People,

Since it was raining early I just went to Ryerson & mainly watched the
feeders from inside the Welcome Center. Also saw some stuff flying
along the river.

Ryerson C.A. (9-10:25 am)

Canada Goose (12 f;y-bys)
BALD EAGLE (1-AD flying along the river)
Herring Gull (1, half heartedly chasing the Eagle)
Rock Pigeon (2)
Mourning Dove (4)
Red Bellied Woodpecker (2)
Downy Woodpecker (1-F & 1-M)
Hairy Woodpecker (1)
Blue Jay (2)
Chickadee (2)
W.B. Nuthatch (H-1)
Cardinal (1-F)
Junco (3)
House Sparrow (~12)

So 14 species at Ryerson plus 1 roadside addition for a day's total of
15 species.
Bird-Of-The-Day will be the adult Bald Eagle & Runner-Up will be the
Hairy Woodpecker.
