Lake County Trumpeter Swans

Went looking for the Snow Geese and Ross' Goose at the Peterson Rd fluidly this morning. Struck out, but on the west side of Rt 83 just north of Winchester there are two Trumpeter Swans feeding.

Not much at home except European Goldfinch and FOY Song Sparrow. 

No Woodcock yet, and don't expect them since out neighborhood is overrun with feral cats several neighbors feed and put warming beds for all winter. We see as many as a dozen at a time hunting in the preserve, but no one from the village seems to want to do anything about it.
