The public is invited to join members of the DuPage Birding Club on October 9 for an auction and fundraiser at the DuPage County Historical Museum, 102 E. Wesley, Wheaton, IL. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar and time to browse the auction and the museum. The auction begins at 7:15 p.m.
The club will auction more than 60 bird- and nature-related items donated by members and local merchants, including birding optics, “experiences” to explore regional birding hotspots with expert birders, bird feeders and houses, original artwork, unique antique items, and birdy gift baskets. In addition, the event hosts a raffle with choice prizes and the “Birding Bazaar,” tables of $3, $5, $10, and $20 gently used (and sometimes new) items, including books, home décor, collectibles, and more. The DBC auction is treasure hunting at its best!
