Hello Bird People,

Went with Luis M for our weekly visit to Wood Dale but had to leave
early to chase after a rare bird or two which I'll do another report
on later.

D,C. Cormorant (21)
Great Blue Heron (5)
Great Egret (also 5)
Canada Goose (287)
Mallard (14)
Green Winged Teal (2)
Killdeer (17)
Ring Billed (26) & Herring (1) Gulls

Middle Pond

D.C. Cormorant (5)
Great Blue Heron (1)
GREEN HERON (1, getting late)
Mallard (3)
Kestrel (2, together)

Itasca/Western Wetlands (Only partly covered as I had to leave)

Great Blue Heron (1) & Great Egret (1)

Land Birds

Some interesting birds were Eastern Phoebe, House Wren, Cedar Waxwings
& Indigo Bunting.
Warblers were Tennessee (1), Magnolia (1), Blackpoll (1), Yellow Rumps
(3) & Palms (2)

So 39 species for me but Luis stayed longer & had 47 species.
Bird-Of-The-AM to the Indigo Bunting & Runner-Up to the slightly late
Green Heron.
