I'm not sure this counts as my first Listers Corner email of the season, but it'll do.
Should this sighting not be accepted by IORC for some reason (if they decide it's not a Small-billed) then birders would have to take it off, but we allow listers to count sightings like this until there's a reason to not count it.
This is old news to many of you listers, but this next section is new news:
According to the ABA's Greg Neise, here is the status of Small-billed Elaenia with regards to the American Birding Association, "It was accepted last September, and will be added officially in the Dec CLC Report and checklist update.”
So you can also add it to your ABA Life List for the first time.
