Hello Bird People,

Another cold & windy day so another day watching feeders. This time at
River Trail Nature Center. Just saw the regular expected stuff but
there were a lot of birds to keep me occupied.

River Trail Nature Center (10:25-11:30 am)

Mourning Dove (4)
Red Bellied Woodpecker (1-M & 1-F)
Downy Woodpecker (also 1-M & 1-F)
Hairy Woodpecker (1-M)
Blue Jay (3)
Chickadee (2)
W.B. Nuthatch (2)
Cardinal (8)
Tree Sparrow (4)
WHITE THROATED SPARROW (5)
Junco (8-10)
House Finch (3)
PURPLE FINCH (1-M) (Front feeders)
Goldfinch (8)
House Sparrow (30-35)

So just 15 species at River Trail plus Pigeons & Starlings as roadside
additions so 17 for the day. Bird-Of-The-Day to the one male Purple
Finch & Runners-Up to the White Throated Sparrows.
