Wood Duck catches tadpole, Lake County

This morning a Wood Duck at Sedge Meadow FP caught a tadpole in the lily pads.  Video of it can be seen at the 26:30 mark here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ddsgfbeX6s.  

Later, Wood Ducks climbed up on the Beaver lodge to feed on the vegetation the Beavers put up.  We need more Beavers and their works for the utmost biodiversity.
