Fort Sheridan Hawk Watch Sunday 11-23-25

Hello Bird People,

Didn't accomplish much today as I tried for an Evening Grosbeak at Ft
Sheridan where one was seen & photographed yesterday but it was a no
show today. Along with official counters Amanda T & Jeff B I watched
for raptors with Beau S, Bob E & Santos L but we saw few.

Only had 11 species at the Fort plus 3 roadside species for a weak
total of 14 for the day.
Bird-Of-The-Day will be Tundra Swans which we saw in groups of 3 & 10.
But I should mention that as I left in the morning I saw 10-12 Juncos
on my driveway which seldom happens at my house. So they can be
Runners-Up.
