This morning at Sedge Meadow FP, a flock of Ruddy Ducks were on the pond, couple videos can be seen here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hL5OjZXJE3E,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYa2Oio-0Ow.  For a while they hid so far in the cattails sheltered from the wind you couldn't see them.  Common Mergansers, Buffleheads, Common Loon, Pied-billed Grebe, Horned Grebe, Great Egret, Canada Geese were also on the pond.  A couple Caspian Terns flew over, first of year for me, and Sandhill Cranes.  Two Trumpeter Swans flew in and stayed longer than usual, barely got a break while I was there.  Never seen them back in the day when they were nearly extinct so I have a lot of catching up to do.
