Interesting session format idea

The Medical Library Association is doing what they call a Flipped Meeting for their contributed papers session this year (see http://npc.mlanet.org/mla14/2013/09/the-flipped-meeting-format-explained/).

I think this would be an interesting idea for an ILA conference session.  I'm tentatively thinking of one based on TED talks, but am open to anything (including a traditional panel that we flip by pre-recording the presentations).

Would someone like to work with me to expand on the idea so we can submit a proposal for the 2014 conference?
