One of my goals for the Leadership Forum for 2012-2013 is for the Forum membership to write at least two articles for the ILA Reporter on leadership topics that may be of wider interest to the whole organization. The easiest ones to write might be My Turn essays on some personal aspect of leadership, although if you have an idea for a longer piece (maybe a how ho article for new supervisors, advice on leading from any position, the art of followership (which is just as important as leadership)), that would be great too.

If you have ideas, feel free to share them here. You can also submit story ideas directly to Bob Doyle (do...@ila.org). If you do that, please copy me so I can report it back to the ILA Board. :-)  I'll also be happy to work with you on an article, but would really like to see content come directly from the Forum members.

Submission guidelines are on the ILA web site at http://www.ila.org/store/guidelines-for-submissions-to-the-ila-reporter. They're also in the ILA Handbook (because *everything* is in the Handbook :-)). If you have any questions, please let me know.
