Job Title: IN Systems Engineer III
Job Location: CHICAGO, IL

Responsible for the design, implementation, technical
support and testing of Intelligent Network Platforms
and Value Added Services. The design, implementation
and testing of Intelligent Network Platforms and Value-Added
Services. Technical/Trouble-Shooting support for existing
Engineering Network Services. System Acceptance Testing
of new Platforms and Services. Installation and network
integration of new Services/platforms in the operational
markets. Requirements/Design of new features and functionality
for IN and Value-Added Services. Engineering/Telecommunications
Bachelors 4 year Degree. Six years GSM Network Systems
experience. At least 3 years Mobile Telecommunications
Network Operator experience. At least 4 years designing
, developing, and deploying Value-Added Services and
Intelligent Network Solutions in a Mobile telecommunications
Environment. Extensive knowledge of Key Network Elements
: i) Mobile Switching Centers/Visitor Location Register,
MSC/VLR, ii) Home Location Registers, HLR, iii) Authentication
Centers, AUC, iv) Short Message Service Centers, SMSC.
Signaling System Number 7, specifically Bellcore MTP,
SCCP, ISUP, and TCAP Levels. GSM Mobile Application
Part Phase I and II. Core Intelligent Network Application
Part and CAMEL. IS-41 Mobile Application Part Rev 0,
Rev A, Rev B, Rev C. SS7 test equipment experience:
i) Tekelec MGTS, ii) Hewlett-Packard SS7 Test Equipment.
Knowledge of one major Mobile Switching Vendor. Network
integration of Network Elements to Customer Care and
Billing Systems and OAM systems. UNIX/VMS Operating
Systems. Switching equipment experience. Computer hardware
experience. Basic Computing skills. Time Management
skills. Proven track record of delivering highly technical
solutions within short timescales. Nokia Network Subsystems
MSC/VLR, HLR, AUC, SMSC. Communicates clearly and concisely;
resolves conflicts and manages sensitive situations
effectively. Demonstrates a solid track record of accomplishment
in fast paced, technical/systems and operations environment.

This will be a Permanent position (Direct Placement),
