IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Position Description
* Consult with internal customers in order to determine their needs and design encompassing IT solutions for them. * Manage and execute projects. * Strong technical ability and outstanding troubleshooting skills. * Continue to learn new technologies and mentor other team members. * Drive process improvements, share industry best practices. * Excellent communication skills and exceptional customer facing skills with a high degree of professionalism. * Effectively operate within set guidelines, policies and procedures. * Support occasional after-hours and weekend work.
Requirements
* Experience with Cisco UCS. * Experience with VMWare. * Strong experience with virtualization. * Experience with Enterprise Storage. * Experience with systems management platforms. * Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or similar technologies. * Strong knowledge of fundamental services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, POP, Active Directory). * Cloud experiences a plus. * Automation/Scripting skills highly desired. * A Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of proven, related experience or 6+ years of progressively more responsible systems experience.
