US-IL-CHI (SCHAUMBURG) TELECOM Manager-AVP
Direct the evaluation of communications systems and network services
which are cost effective, utilize advanced technologies, and justified based
upon a sound business case. Direct and plan the addition, disconnection,
and/or reconfiguration of all voice and data circuits. Direct project
management for all new installation and system cut-overs to include
equipment selection and acquisition, circuit configuration development,
equipment and network installation, user training and follow-up. Develops
standards for telemarketing (inbound and outbound) which identify levels of
customer service, routing strategies, and vendor evaluation carrier for long
distance services and generic system needs. Represent the company in
legislative and regulatory issues which may impact current and future
business and industry trends. Develop the capital budget for
communication-related equipment and projects. Approve all specifications
pertaining to telecommunications hardware to be used throughout the
company. Manages department staff and administer personnel policy and
procedure to include salary compensation, career planning and counseling,
education (technical and management development) performance
appraisals, staffing and turnover.
Profile:
Requirements (minimum):
BA/B S required. MBA/MA/MS desired. 10+ years Telecommunications
Manager, Network Manager, Installation Manager required. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills, contract negotiation, strategic
thinker, excellent interpersonal skills, project management required.
