REMEMBER: ALL BOOKS ARE FREE FROM THE END OF THE WORLD BOOKSHOP FOR
DECEMBER! we're halfway cleaned out! amazing book hungry people - i
love you!
also the show on the 29th of december (our il corral good-bye) is a
benefit for the move to zero-point, so we're asking $7-10 donation. if
you can't pay that, or if you'd like to donate more - just talk to me,
or give at the door.
we have our opening for zero-point planned for jan. 12th.
live painting by mear one,
mike the poet,
a-tribute ensemble with improv string quartet headed by melinda rice,
killsonic marching band,
lilly cutrono - dancer,
-----all to welcome you to zero-point, and celebrate our bathroom
graffiti advocate mark ferem with his book on the subject, being
reviewed by the l.a. times. the opening for zero-point on jan. 12th
will be the inauguration of our two bathrooms, - so come tag in honor
of the move - and the new adventure ahead of us!
people have asked what is on our zero-point wish list: a projector,
white paint, sliding glass doors... more than things you may have
access to or come across, lighting design people / equipment would be
a great way to strengthen the community. also we are interested in
artists and craftspeople to create installations of modular
furniture.
also in zero-point we have the ability to host art in ways that il
corral was not conducive to...so if you or your friends are visual
artists / new media folks, who would like to set up shows, please send
them our way, if you think they'd be down.
at some point i will transition to zeropoi...@gmail.com and have
already created a group for it. i want there to be a serious land
bridge between il corral and zero-point, so people know what is up.
if people want to go ahead and start emailing that address, and join
the group - you can.
also, if you know of folks who would be interested in filming, doing
photography, etc. or rehearsing, we're also renting out time for those
arts.
