Gnutls is not enabling while configure and compilation

I have taken the current working copy [iksemel-978b733462e4] from git and configuring for X86 debian environment.

Ran the below commands

./autogen.sh

./configure  - -with-gnutls

As per my observation from “config.status” file, the gnutls lib is empty like given below

S[“LIBGNUTLS_LIBS”]=””

 

When I configure same for “iksemel-1.4” version it shows

S[“LIBGNUTLS_LIBS”]=”-lgnutls ”

The commands for iksemel-1.4 are given below

./autogen.sh

./configure

 

What could be the step which I am missing here?
