· 8 - 12 years of testing experience in IT industry
Responsibilities:
· Review the test approach with the Performance Test Manager / QA Manager.
· Define Performance Test Plan and ensure proper interpretation of the customer’s objectives.
· Define milestones and detailed test approach
· Develop Performance testing scenarios.
· Work with the application architect to understand the application to be tested.
· Coordinate test environment setup for Performance Testing
· Recommend tools for Performance testing
· Create sprint cycles or follow project sprints for Test Design and execution
· Ensure that all test specifications are implemented correctly.
· Develop and execute performance test scripts as per the project schedule.
· Perform bottleneck analysis and suggest recommendation.
· Retest issues post defect fixes
· Publish final Performance Test Report for statekholder sign off
Skillset:
· Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent job experience.
· Must have 5+ years of Performance Testing and Performance monitoring experience
· Experience with Performance Test Tools, such as AppDynamics, JMeter, Blazemeter and Splunk
· Deep technical knowledge of Client Server Architecture analysis and databases
· Knowledge of TOAD/SQL Developer and other data interrogation and mining tools
· Excellent communcation skills
