Dear IKCC Building Body Members,

On behalf of the IKCC Executive Committee, we invite all the IKCC Building Body Members to participate in the upcoming Semi-Annual Building Body Meeting that will be held on Saturday June 13th, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at IKCC Knanaya Community Center in Rockland (Address: - 400 Willow Grove Rd, Stony Point, NY 10980).

The agenda will be as follows:
1. Prayer
2. Welcome by the President.
3. Rockland Building Board Secretary’s report.
4. Rockland Building Board Treasurer’s report.
5. BQLI Building Board Secretary’s report.
6. BQLI Building Board Treasurer’s report.
7. Usage fee rates – Reconvened item.
As discussed in the IKCC Semi-Annual Building Body meeting on June 14, 2025, the following usage fee rates for the Rockland Main Hall have been established:
- IKCC Members who have contributed $2,000 or more: $1,250 (usage fee) + cleaning charges
- IKCC Members who have not contributed $2,000: $2,500 (usage fee) + cleaning charges, with a $1,000 credit towards building contribution
- Non-IKCC Members: $3,000 (usage fee) + cleaning charges
As discussed in the IKCC Annual Building Body meeting on Nov 15, 2025, the following usage fee rates for the combined events and/or multiple hosts have been established:
- For combined events and/or multiple hosts, non-Building Board members will be charged an additional $500, in addition to the $1,250 usage fee for paid members.
- Usage fee for BQLI:
- As discussed in the IKCC Semi-Annual Building Body meeting on Nov 15, 2025, the following usage fee rates for the BQLI main Hall have been established:
 
- IKCC Members who have contributed $2,000 or more: $500 (usage fee) + cleaning charges
- IKCC Members who have not contributed $2,000: $650 (usage fee) + cleaning charges, with $150 credit towards building contribution
- Non-IKCC Members: $650 (usage fee) + cleaning charges
- For combined events and/or multiple hosts, non-Building Body members will be charged an additional $150, in addition to the $500 usage fee for paid members.

Given the increasing competition in the external market, there is a proposal to revisit the previously approved rates

8.IKCC Constitution Amendment/Proposal – Reconvened Item
This was previously discussed in the past IKCC Semi Annual General Body meeting on June 14, 2025 and Annual General Body meeting on Nov 15, 2025.

Current Language:
Section – 4:
(a) For the purpose of sections - 2, 3 and 4(d) of this article, a family means husband, wife, unmarried children and dependent parents who live in the same household.

Proposed Language:
Section – 4:
For the purpose of sections - 2, 3 and 4(d) of this article, a family means husband, wife, children and dependent parents who live in the same household.
For the purposes of Section - 4, “children” shall mean:
1. Unmarried dependent children of the member, under 35 years of age, residing in the same household as the member; and
2. One married son and his spouse, provided that they reside in the same household as the member and are financially dependent upon the member. In the event that more than one married son and spouse reside in the same household, only one married son and his spouse shall be entitled to family membership benefits. The member shall designate, in writing, the IKCC Secretary, which married son and spouse to be included under the family membership. Such designation shall be final and may not thereafter be changed or transferred to any other child.
3. Married daughters and their spouses are expressly excluded from eligibility for family membership benefits under this provision, regardless of whether they reside in the same household as the member.

09. Parking lot allotment - Reconvened Item
This was previously discussed in the past IKCC Semi Annual Building Body meeting on June 14, 2025 and Annual Building Body meeting on Nov 15, 2025.

As per the discussion in IKCC Building Body meetings in 2025, a sub-committee formed to propose to make the changes in constitution  

Below is the new proposal:

RESOLUTIONS FOR THE GENERAL BODY ON June 13, 2026

Resolution 2A: Designated Parking Spaces for Donors

A designated parking space shall be allocated to IKCC members who donate $10,000 or more to the Rockland Building Fund, the BQLI Building Fund, or through a combination of contributions to both funds, effective June 13, 2026. The designated parking space shall remain valid for the lifetime of the donor and the donor’s spouse. Eligible donors may choose the center at which they wish to receive the parking space assignment. The parking privilege is non-transferable. This proposed change shall have no impact on existing parking space assignments.

Resolution 2B: Loan Conversion to Donation

- IKCC members who have provided loans can opt to donate the loan amount to the Building Fund. If the donation meets the criteria in Resolution 2A, the member will be eligible for lifetime designated parking privileges for themselves and their spouse.

This resolution supersedes the June 12, 2010, resolution on this matter.

10. Building Contributions
As decided during the Annual Building Body Meeting held on November 15, 2025, the contribution list shall be published to the community prior to each Semi-Annual and Annual Building Body Meeting.

NB: Please refer to the criteria below for IKCC Building Body Members:
1. Shall be an IKCC General Body Member.
2. Shall be a member of a family or a Knanaya Catholic individual, who paid, minimum $2000 building fund dues, to Rockland Center and/or BQLI center.
