Dear Community Members,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mercy Isaac (71) She is survived by her loving husband, Ninan Isaac Permpallikattu (Thiruvalla, currently in Montreal), 2 children, daughter-in-law, 3 grandchildren, 7 siblings.
She was born to (Late) K.C. Chacko B.A Kandarappallil and (Late) Annamma Chacko Kalarickal. she is sister of our IKCC members (late) Joy & Valsamma Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New York),Alex Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New York), Jomon & Mary Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New Jersey)

Mercy was a 1st Rank Holder at Kerala University’s B.Sc Home Science program in 1974 and completed her Masters Degree (M.Sc) as a Dietician from Madras University. She was a part of the NCC (National Cadet Corps - Officer Rank) alongside her academic studies.
She emigrated from India to Canada in the year of 1977.
She completed a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science once she came to Canada; she retired as a Senior IT Project Manager and Trainer from McGill University after 43 years.

Husband: Ninan Isaac Permpallikattu (Thiruvalla, currently in Montreal),
Son: Benjamin Isaac and his wife, Suzanne Guth, and their three children: Amelia Erica Isaac, Naomi Evelyn Isaac and Sophia Elizabeth Isaac.
Daughter: Dr. Sandhya Isaac
9 Siblings: (late) Joy & Valsamma Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New York), (late) Jolly & (late) Felix Naduvilaparambil (Kumarakom), Lucy & (late) Jose Mattam (Montreal), Alex Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New York), Elsy Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (North Carolina), Tomy & Shilly Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (Neendoor), Jomon & Mary Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (New Jersey), Shiney Kandarappallil-Kalarickal (Toronto), Jaimol & Joby Thomas Kalapurackal (Tampa, Florida).
