IKCC Semi Annual Building Body Meeting on June 14th, 2025

Dear IKCC Building Body Members,

On behalf of the IKCC Executive Committee, we invite all the IKCC Building Body Members to participate in the upcoming Semi Annual Building Body Meeting that will be held on Saturday June 14th, 2025, at 2 PM to 3:30 PM at BQLI Knanaya Community Center (Address: - 275 Locust St, West Hempstead, NY 11552).

 

The agenda will be as follows:

1.   Prayer

2.   Welcome by the President.

3.   Rockland Building Board Secretary’s report.

4.  Rockland Building Board Treasurer’s report.

5.    BQLI Building Board Secretary’s report.

6.    BQLI Building Board Treasurer’s report.

7.    Fundraising – Stage Show in NY

8.    Usage fee rates – Reconvened item.

This was previously discussed in the past IKCC Annual General Body meeting in November 2024. As per the proposal discussed in the IKCC Annual General Body meeting, the usage fees are as follows:

 

* For those who have contributed $2000 or more: $1250 (usage fee) + cleaning charges

 

* For Non-Building body members of IKCC: $2500 (usage fee) + cleaning charges. Additionally, they will receive $1000 credit for their building contribution from the usage fee.

 

* For Non-IKCC Members: $3000 (usage fee) + cleaning charges.

9.    IKCC Constitution Amendment/Proposal

 

Current Language:

Section – 4:

(a)  For the purpose of sections - 2, 3 and 4(d) of this article, a family means husband, wife, unmarried children and dependent parents who live in the same household.

Proposed Language:

Section – 4:

(a)  For the purpose of sections - 2, 3 and 4(d) of this article, a family means husband, wife, children (married and unmarried) and dependent parents who live in the same household.

11. Any other matters permitted by the chair.

 

NB: Please refer to the criteria below for IKCC Building Body Members:

1.   Shall be an IKCC General Body Member.

2.   Shall be a member of a family or a Knanaya Catholic individual, who paid, minimum $2000 building fund dues, to Rockland Center and/or BQLI center.
