RESOLUTIONS FOR THE GENERAL BODY ON NOVEMBER 15, 2025
Resolution 1: Parking Permit for Community Members
- One parking permit per family will be issued to community members who contribute a minimum of $2,000. Parking will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited space. The permit is valid for major IKCC events, including Inauguration, Easter Celebration, Knanaya Night, Christmas, and other functions as determined by the IKCC Executive Committee. Permit holders will park in the designated IKCC parking lot, while others will use the soccer field or school ground.
Resolution 2A: Designated Parking Spaces for Donors
- Rockland Building:
A designated parking space will be allocated to IKCC members who donate $12,000 or more to the Rockland Building Fund effective November 15, 2025. Spaces will be allocated only from the existing designated spaces (no new spaces) based on availability due to family relocation and /or loss of IKCC membership on a first-come, first-served basis. The parking space is valid for the lifetime of the donor and spouse and is non-transferable. The proposed change has no impact on the current parking space assignments.
- BQLI Building: IKCC members donating $12,000 or more to the BQLI Building Fund will receive a designated parking space at the BQLI center. Only three (3) spots will be designated for this purpose, on a first-come first-served basis. The parking space is valid for the lifetime of the donor and spouse and is non-transferable.
Once the three open parking spots are filled, future allocations will be made from existing designated spaces that become available due to family relocation or loss of IKCC membership. These spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Resolution 2B: Loan Conversion to Donation
- IKCC members who have provided loans can opt to donate the loan amount to the Building Fund. If the donation meets the criteria in Resolution 2A, the member will be eligible for lifetime designated parking privileges for themselves and their spouse.
