IIUM Postgraduate Students’ Society Under the auspices of Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPS) is going to organize 3 MINUTE THESIS COMPETITIONS 2015 on the following details:

What is 3 Minute Thesis?

Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland (UQ). PhD students have 3 minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. 3MT is not an exercise in trivializing or ‘dumbing-down’ research, but challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-specialist audience.

Who is eligible?

All PhD Student who are in their second year of study/ Research and above.

PRIZES:

First: RM300x3 ; Second: RM150x3 ; Third: RM100x3

First PRIZE winners will represent IIUM at National Level competition.
