PGSS & CPS are jointly going to organize a Workshops on Publishing Articles in Social Sciences Scholarly Journals.

Date: 03 March (Monday) & 10 March (Monday)
Time: 8:30am--- 4:30pm
Venue: Lecture Theatre-3, Institute of Education (Level-3)

TOPICS to be covered:
• Why publish?
• Getting ready to write
• Overview of parts of an academic paper
• Targeting the right journal
• The ethics of publishing
• Dealing with editors and reviewers
• Tips on getting published

WHO should attend: Postgraduate students from the social and behavioural Sciences.

NOTE: Please bring along:
• A hard as well as a soft copy or your dissertation, thesis, or research paper that you are currently working on to see how
we could turn it into an academic article.
• Bring your Laptop and extension cable
