Bring transition to its logical end

Faculty Forum post is a non-political post and traditionally there was no canvassing done as practice in getting the consensus for Head position in the Department.

But around 2003 the department to department canvassing started like municipal election. In last election I practice old tradition. But some of my well-wishers advised me to visit the departments so that it is not considered arrogance.  

I am visiting the departments/centres and meeting many faculty. However, because of mismatch of my time in the department with some faculty, I missed them and personally could not meet.

However, considering my visit as the formality completed (if that was required as part of campaigning) please support a sincere, devoted, hardworking, god fearing (not spag or ppag fearing) straight forward, and social person proved by bringing Faculty Forum to a stage where it is today in 2 years.

US President can take two terms if public recognize his work. I request work is considered over incumbency as we don’t have many with propensity for leadership and quality to lead to satisfy a rotation policy. And we are in the midst of transition we started in 2011 from IITR to IIT in spirit and working.

Now bringing transition to its logical end is in your hand.
