Are girls usually referred to as man/dude @ IIMB or is it only because my name can be a little misleading sometimes?  :P coz even if they are, i'm cool with that, just checking :D

There are 6 of us from Roorkee whose B call got converted but Rohit and Sheetal are waiting for the A results before finalising anything. So, the task shall be taken care of as soon as i know how many people are gonna be members of the group.

woooh !!! such a long wait finally comes to an end.. i am so glad with the B result though i made it to C also.. B came as a wonderful surprise.. i thot i totally screwed my B.. well after a brief moronic spell of time, things seem to be going well again for me... folks help me with the B vs C thing.. would seriously need some insider info before deciding though at the moment B seems to be THE choice (only coz a lot of friends seem to be there already)... see you folks soon

Haven't been able to convert any calls. Waitlisted at A and B. So I urge anyone who has a C call to go there. Seriously. ;-) And congrats to everyone. Roorkee has done really well.

You might wanna know that the Waitlist moved up to No. 30 for A last year. Infact, our very own Sriram was the lucky one. I think there is less movement in B waitlist but thats cos they give more no. of offers than the no. of seats (300 for 251 this time)

A gave 557 calls for 192 seats in General Category if quota were implemented and 186 if there were no OBC reservations.

I believe the former figure is more relevant now

I think Mathew is asking about the no. of final calls & no. of seats. Like B has said that they have given 300 final calls for 250 seats.
But i think A, at least last yr, gave only as many final calls as no. of seats. Is that correct, Rahul?
So, I guess, Mathew, u have a gr8 chance.

Well finally I am posting here because after rejections from C, I,and K, I really wanted to make sure that I had made it to IIM A. After receiving the official offer letter today I guess I can breathe easy :P. Believe me, after getting three rejections one after the other, and then getting the BIG one right is pretty hard to believe. But atleast it saves me from the pain of deciding which IIM to join :D

Congratulations to all the others who have made it to the IIMs. Rohit uncle tumne toh maccha di yaar!!!

Also I would really like to thank the seniors for their valuable suggestions all along.

Really looking forward to life at WIMWI ( although I have no idea what it stands for and why :P)
