my interview is on 10th n ws planning to leave smtime on sunday morning!!

also, a little heads up to those who are yet to appear for theit IIM I interview


summary time is very limited------atmost 2 minutes. they didnt mention the time before starting it, and took the sheets from us really quickly.
ankit and my grp was the same and our whole group suffered bcoz we had a gr8 discussion---cool, calm and had a lot of points, but didnt get enough time to write down the summary.

@seniors, how much does it affect us?? would we suffer bcoz of that, bcoz every1 in latter days would know abt it beforehand!!????

In my opinion, these things wont matter much as your entire group would have performed the same way. If overall, they find a candidate to be good, they would take him/her, simple! (Perhaps, they would even fudge 1-2 scores like that of your summary, in case they find that 1-2 marks might impact your selection, if they just go by mere numbers/marks :D). Thats my take on it :)

It should not make a difference. If everyone in the group gets screwed, effectively its all fine :)
thats the beauty of RG....somethg you will get to know as soon as you enter any of the IIMs

I hope none of you behaved like kids trying to write something in the last minute when they were standing next to you to collect the papers...

From the next time, try to have a structure in mind even before you get the paper to write summary etc and write is as soon as you get the paper. Another lesson you will learn at IIMs...all papers are generally lengthy nu really need to think n write fast to finish in time :(

In short....just relax ... n Best of luck for the next interviews

you could go on and on with this stuff... and why limit it to just summary... people might start complaining that I got a "BAD" panel and the other guy got a "GOOD" panel (whatever that means) or how does the institute measure "PAST PERFORMANCE", etc. etc...

basically, forget about all this and concentrate on doing your best during the process... :)

they are allowed this much cheating, they said 4 mints for summary, aur 2 mint baad le liya. A lesson for ppl who are yet to have their I..
n also do read the case quicky, they mentioned 5 mints, but they started the GD after 3 mints or so, so be careful.

One more thing, i guess they are asking general acads n from last 1 or 2 grade sheets only.
They asked me 5 general acads questions, 4 from last grade sheets, n 1 from 2nd last.. the same was the case with an iitd guy in my panel.

It was a lot different in my case... I wasn't asked a single acad question in the entire interview... apart from a bit of XII std math...
