I am running this year's Mumbai Half Marathon and I'm supporting a cause which I'm sure is close to many of our hearts - education and nutrition for the under-privileged child. The Akshayapatra Foundation is a proficient NGO in this space with a very focused theme and modus operandi.

Akshayapatra is a unique NGO which has been trying to provide a solution to the dual issues of education and nutrition for children. By providing food for more than 1.3 million children across 10,000 schools, the foundation has had a positive impact across enrollment, attendance and performance in classes and the nutritional status of the children.

An amount as small as INR 750 feeds a child for an entire year. Donate to see atleast one child better fed and better educated!
