Internship opportunities at Research Park, IIT Madras

I have talked to a few companies in the research park for summer internship opportunities available there. Please find a few details below:

*( I have convinced the HR of Titan for internship selection process in the institute for the approaching summer. They will be sharing the internship opportunities for various disciplines i.e. CH, ME, MM with us and then you can apply to them through the institute)

For the rest of the companies, please go to the Research Park with your resume and grade card/relevant documents and request the concerned person ( mentioned above)  for internship. I have convinced them once to offer internships and now it would entirely depend on you as a candidate to approach them, apply for internships and give them the reason to offer you. Please do utilize these opportunities for sure.

The companies have not been approached by students with requests for the summer internship. Please do go through the profile of the company and go to research park with a copy of your resume, grade card/ relevant documents and request for internship by contacting the concerned person which I have already mentioned in the previous mail. Please do utilize these opportunities for summer internships.

I had requested the companies for internships for the 3rd year students only. Also, as 3rd year students you have more technical course work than the 2nd year students. So, 3rd years will definitely be given preference. But the point that the 2nd years have already approached the companies shows how much interest and enthusiasm they are showing for these internship opportunities. 

The contact details of the concerned persons cannot be shared. So, please go to the Research Park, introduce yourself appropriately and request for meeting the Project Manager/HR Manager/aforementioned officials and state the purpose of your visit clearly i.e. your request for summer internship. You will definitely be given an appointment since I have already spoken to the company representatives about the same. At that time you can seek the contact directly if they are willing to share.
