At Tookitaki we have build a predictive analytics platform called Tookitaki Decision Support System or TDSS. The platform empowers data scientists and enterprises solve real predictive problems/use cases on large and complex datasets. The platform-based automated approach is a paradigm shift in predictive analytics industry, as you do not need to write single piece of code to prepare date, create models, continuously refresh it in a given time frame (without model drifts), extract output easily and deploy models in production. So it lies at the intersection of Engineering and Data Science complexities.
We are headquartered in Singapore and have development centre in Bengaluru. We are growing fast and looking for strong data scientists to grow with us.
Data Science @ Tookitaki:
Data science team at Tookitaki is responsible for solving business problems on complex data. Data complexity could be characterized in terms of volume, dimensionality and different sources it is coming from. We understand the data, ask fundamental-first-principle questions, apply our analytical and machine learning skills to solve the problem in the best way possible.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for 2 full-time data scientists who has deep interest in theoretical and applied machine learning. You would be a good fit, if:
- You have a Master’s Degree in applied statistics, applied mathematics, physics or a related quantitative discipline.
- You are good in Statistics, Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus.
- You understand the math behind models/algorithms, and are able to decide when to choose one over another.
- You have a keen desire to solve business problems with the best possible accuracy.
- You are familiar with various model tuning approaches like Ensembles, Stacking etc.
- You are familiar with Python/R/Matlab or any other statistical package of your choice.
- You are familiar with relational databases and SQL.
- You are good in understanding complex, multi-dimensional datasets and perform feature engineering.
- You have done internship in predictive modeling field or regular in Kaggle competitions.
- You love working in a fast paced environment.
