Fundraising for ChES, IIT Madras

Greetings from ChES, IIT Madras!

We hope you are doing well in your post-graduation life.

I am Adityanath from Chemical Engineering Society, IIT Madras. Freshers night is around the corner and we are raising funds to conduct the event which is known to be the most memorable night in every student's insti life.

As the freshers are stepping into the whole new phase of their life, it is the responsibility of ChES to welcome them to the family. Freshers night is an event which breaks the ice between themselves and the seniors, helping them forge bonds and new relationships thus forming an outline of their insti life. Many of us have gotten our insti names that were remembered throughout their course in the insti.  Many of us were able to overcome our stage fear due to this wonderful opportunity. Many of us have broken stereotypes at the event. As you have been through all these phases in your insti life, you must be knowing the importance of it. 

We are seeking monetary support from the alumni of the department. We hope former students like you who are the backbone of our institution will help us in this regard. Your contribution will be of immense help in kickstarting their epic journey. You can contact us through spr_...@smail.iitm.ac.in or reply on the current thread regarding the same. We are hoping to have you down at the institute in near future.

Greetings from ChES, IIT Madras,

We would also like you know that we have started a new Student Chapter in association with AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) and we aim at partnering with an International Sister chapter soon! We are planning multiple industrial plant tours to provide budding chemical engineers with an insight into plant working; taking up multiple educational activities (lectures, seminars, and competitions). Joining hands with AlChE is one of the steps taken towards expanding out horizons. Your support in this matter will be very much appriciated.
