Ather Energy is a start up working in the field of electric vehicles in India. The company is currently working on a next generation electric scooter targeted to be launched in 2016. 

At Ather Energy we believe in complete vertical integration in design to ensure high quality. Hence, in order to achieve a high level of vertical integration the company is developing in house competency for major EV technologies. 

As we are rapidly expanding we are looking for team members to fill in some important positions in the company. Please find below the details about the job profile

BMS (Battery Management System) designer - 

Battery Management system is the brains of any lithium ion battery. It protects and the battery to avoid damages, improve the life and ensure safety. 

The BMS designer will be responsible for the complete design, development and testing of the battery management system and integrating it with the battery pack. He/she will be needing to develop on the work currently accomplished by the Ather team and taking it to completion.

Key skills needed: Strong circuit design skills, some knowledge on power electronics, Altium, OrCad, Embedded hardware design, hands on experience working on a electronics product.
