Technical comments for participating teams
Participating teams will receive comments on their technical submission from Colin Chin, our technical lead for Shell Eco-marathon Asia.
Please review the technical comments and read the rules carefully, to ensure you satisfy all the requirements.
As a reminder, teams must pass a full technical inspection on site, meet rules and regulations, as well as safety requirements during the event. We will be very strict during technical inspection and failure to comply will mean that your vehicle will not be allowed to run on the track. If in doubt, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions.

Securing sponsorship
One of the key challenges for most teams is finding sponsorship and funding for their Shell Eco-marathon Asia project. We advise you to start by making a list of potential companies that your team may approach for sponsorship and support. To assist you in your preparation, we have a letter template which you may customise according to your project, what your team needs and the sponsor’s interest. Good luck!
Tell us your story
Great ideas come from a steadfast team. And in each team lies a story that is worthy to be shared. Did your team overcome a complicated challenge or obstacle in preparation for Shell Eco-marathon Asia? Has any of your team members accepted interesting job offers based on their work for Shell Eco-marathon Asia? Send us interesting facts or inspiring stories about your team and its members before 31 March 2013. If it is feature-worthy, we may just include your story in our Shell Eco-marathon Asia articles, videos and newsletters!
