Team manager registration
All team managers are required to register themselves and their official team members in the Guest Registration System (GRS) by 7 June 2013. This is a mandatory action for all team managers. Security access tags for the event will be based on the information provided in the GRS.
Compulsory participation: Shell Student Energy Challenge
In 2013, Shell Eco-marathon is introducing the Shell Student Energy Challenge, in partnership with National Geographic. The prize challenges students to reflect on wider context of the future of energy, by submitting a creative infographic that answers one out of three energy-related questions.
Each team is required to take part in the Shell Student Energy Challenge, in order to compete for all trophies, prizes and awards of Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2013. More information, including questions, official rules, judging criteria and other details are available at www.shell.com/sec-asia.

Off-track awards
We are in the midst of finalising Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2013 off-track awards and will be announcing details very soon. Stay tuned for more information on this year’s off-track awards via email, newsletter, Shell Eco-marathon Asia website or the Facebook group.
Meet the teams from Asia
Meet the participating teams for Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2013. You can also update your profile or introduce your team by posting a picture or a link to your team’s website, Facebook page, etc. To do this, log in to meet the teams page using your user log in details and password.
Submission of important documents
All teams must submit the required documents to the organising committee no later than 15 May 2013. Failure to meet this deadline will result in a team being disqualified. See the Important Documents section for further details and to download the forms.
Shipping your vehicles
The Royal Malaysian Customs requires that all Shell Eco-marathon vehicles entering Malaysia from overseas MUST have an Approved Permit (AP) to be allowed into the country. To avoid complications, particularly with getting your vehicles through the Malaysian Customs, all teams must use the freight forwarding service by our appointed vendor, Advertising Sales Promotion (ASP). A vehicle that does not have an AP will be refused entry into Malaysia.
Please read the section on freight forwarding to understand the procedures, requirements and how to apply for an AP. Deadline for all AP applications is 3 June 2013.

e-shop now open
Purchase essential materials for your vehicle, such as fuel tanks, joulemeters, tyres and horns from the e-shop. Note that some items require pre-orders. Teams are encouraged to place their orders early to avoid disappointment.
Share your videos
Share videos of your team’s special moments, challenging experiences, and triumphant times! We want to get to know your team, your winning vehicle, and your journey to this year’s Shell Eco-marathon Asia. Send in your video link to eco-mara...@shell.com or post it on the Shell Eco-marathon Asia Facebook group by 15 May 2013. Prizes will be given to the teams whose videos are chosen.
Using the Shell logo
Teams who are intending to produce t-shirts, jackets, print banners or posters and other materials for promotional and display purposes, using the Shell logo or Shell Eco-marathon Asia branding for the event, are encouraged to read and follow these guidelines. On-site materials that do not comply with the guidelines may be removed by the organising committee.
