We're back from our Nagala trek and and are glad to have had some of the most enthusiastic and adventurous people to kick-start the IAC activities with.
It was good to see everyone gathered to leave on time. Almost 15 kms on foot- across the stream about half a dozen times, and through long stretches of thorny wild-growth, under the mid-day sun, brought us to the cool pristine pools where junta wasted no time on getting in. Floating on the Styrofoam sheets or sitting under the water fall, we had a blast it was with great reluctance (and also forgotten bumps and bruises) that we started back to the bus.
Needless to say, the trip was a success, although there are a couple of points we'd like to mention:
*We noticed that the place had been littered with wrappers and tetrapacks. This is something we take seriously.People found littering henceforth shall be blacklisted for all future treks.
*We will stick to the pre-decided number of people and the Secretary's decision on this shall be final.
PS: Those of you who agreed to contribute to blogging and photo-logging, please send in your pics and/or write-ups (even if it may be only a few lines long) as replies to this mail or you could mail them to me personally.
