Hi ,
To all those involved in the Nagala N/2 Eastern entry trek. IAC hopes
to have given you an enjoyable day-out with the trek and all injuries
suffered were minor. We hope to see you again in our future
activities.
Regarding the people who have been shortlisted and didn't turn up
without prior notice , IAC has stict rules for such lapses and the
punishment will be dealt shortly by blacklisting you guys for the
remainder of IAC activities. You should understand that it takes a lot
of efforts from our side to make a trek happen and even the shortlist
is done keeping in mind that we are leaving out some of the guys to
take you instead. We hope that such incidents wont happen again.
Regarding the Trek , unlike the Western entry this trek had a longer
and strenuous trail involving stream crossing , hill climbing and
rocky terrain. But the level of the pools made up for the hard work
involved in getting there. At the final pool, junta rediscovered the
joy of floating blissfully on the Styrofoam sheets. Finally after
almost 20 km on foot, we were back in the bus where thankfully junta
weren't too tired to stop singing . The trip was more entertaining
than the first trek but it saw more groupism which we hope to avoid in
the future. The aim of such activities is not only to provide fun etc
but also for social interaction with everyone involved in the trek .
10 people from CTC joined us for the trek and an interaction would
definitely have benefited us , given that they were working people in
Cognizant , Symantec etc. We hope to further improve our activities
and your feedback is greatly needed and appreciated.
Cheers,
IPS
