For one of my Bangalore based client we are looking for -
Lead System Administrator
Ø Worked on Linux, specifically Redhat Enterprise or CentOS (minimum 3 years)
Ø Experience with Solaris and Windows based systems desirable
Ø Experience with J2EE App servers like JBoss, Weblogic, Tomcat (minimum of 3 years)
Ø Experience with monitoring applications (e.g.- Nagios, Cacti, MRTG), and build & source control systems (e.g.- SVN, CVS, Hudson)
Ø Change management, datacenter deployments, and VMWare virtualization experience highly desirable
Ø Strong scripting skills in at least one, preferably two, major scripting languages (bash/perl/python/ruby)
Ø Strong networking skills (LDAP, NIS, DNS, NFS, & CIFS administration experience)
Ø Application tuning, performance monitoring, and code migration experience require
Ø Knowledge of system design, backup & recovery, system integrity and security
Desirable Experience
Ø Experience with Oracle database tuning and performance monitoring of medium-to-large database applications
Ø Database modeling, data management through the various stages of the development life cycle highly desirable
Ø Knowledge of physical database system design
Ø Knowledge of database system backup and recovery
Ø Knowledge of database data integrity and security management
Ø B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification in technical discipline
Ø 5+ years of experience.
Ø Must possess excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills across all levels
Ø Must be self-driven and able to work independently without minimal supervision
Ø Proven technical ability to manage multiple complex and diverse projects concurrently
Ø Strong documentation, problem analysis/resolution skills, written communication skills, and team orientation.
Ø Experience mentoring/managing junior members of a team
