Job Description
o Understand customers business challenges/goals and arrive at value added Technology Solutions, define Technology direction and Roadmap
o Define the Architecture
o Design Systems at the component level, makes strategic technology choices, and directly supervise the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components
o Guide a team of Engineers – offshore and onsite in design and code
o Have mastery of relevant technologies – including Proprietary languages
o Ensure Industry defined Best Practices are followed in Design and Coding
o Business Development
§ Work with Sales/Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities with customer and transform to Projects.
o Project Delivery
§ Ensure Design and Code quality
§ Work with distributed teams for delivery and execution of Projects
§ Strong compliance to CMMI Processes
Experience
o 8+ years of experience in the Software Industry;
o Atleast 3 years of Architect experience in Architecting large projects.
o Sound Knowledge on latest Architecture trends, Java/J2EE Technologies, Design Patterns, Object Oriented Programming Concepts
o Exposure in DataBases – Oracle, MySQL
o Experience in strategizing and defining technology Roadmap for migration Projects – from Legacy systems to state of the art current generation Applications – preferably in Compliance Documents space
Education
o Bachelors or Masters Engineering Degree
