IIT Delhi Tamil Mandram Diwali Celebrations 2014

Dear All,

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you all for the Deepavali Function celebration going to be held on 09/11/2014 at 6:30 PM in Neelkanth hall. We request your gracious presence on that day and make the function a grand success. Also find the attached invitation.

Please inform us prior if you are bringing any guests. We need the head count before Friday (7th November). And kindly try to stick to the numbers that you've mentioned!

There is going to be a "Vivadha Medai (Debate)" on the topic "தமிழ்மொழி சிறப்புற பிறமொழி கலப்பு நீக்கல் அவசியம் / பிறமொழி நீக்கல் சாத்தியம் இல்லை புதுமுயற்சிகள் அவசியம் (Influence of other languages need to be removed for the enrichment of Tamil / Cannot remove the influence of other languages, need to enrich Tamil in other ways)". Everyone can participate in this and make it a lively program.

We are expecting a contribution from everyone as follows:

B. Tech - Rs. 200
Masters - Rs. 250
PhD / RA - Rs. 300
Guest charges - Rs. 200 per head
Faculty and Staff - Rs. 600 (inclusive of family members)

Please give your contributions (in person, kindly don't transfer to accounts) to the respective hostel representatives BEFORE SATURDAY (8th November) WITHOUT DELAY. Those who didn't contribute for the previous (Farewell and Freshers) events can give their contributions now.
