Please do not use capital letters for whole message.

Presently all the available Linux distros are easy and fun to learn. You can pick anyone you like.

Go for www.distrowatch.com and find your choice with your options.

Ubuntu is little buggy these days so Open suse could be better alternative.

Many of the mainstream Linux systems like Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian etc has got good GUI based installation methods. It would be good if you could try out few of them. I don't think installing any of them would be troublesome.

PS: If you find installing them to be not challenging then, I would recommend you to try Arch Linux (Not recommended for beginners).

Personally I think people who are new Linux should try their hands on LiveCDs that's a better way to see if the Linux they want has what they are looking for. Making one distro superior to other will lead to war of titans. There is nothing superior or inferior distro what is rather true is each distro is in general made to suit some specific thing. Eventhough Linux has its own flavor there is something for everybody in Fedora and its pretty easy to install as well. Iam not sure of others but let me share one experience of mine I had a old system which was has having some problems with display and all I loaded fedora into it with just the command prompt and Java enabled. I have never heard or seen an operating system which could be tailored so acutely.. Liking Linux is more important than singing praises for a single distro. Prasanna there is nothing like easy Linux it is not meant for chickens you need guts to run and learn Linux. So be man enough to load it and run it.

+1 for the reply.
I had felt while talking to my friends, that most people think that its very hard to install and run Linux. even when they say it, I don't think many have actually tried it.
