is there any icon of Network Connections available on the top panel. If yes, is it Showing  X
If yes , then u need to put ip addressses or Configure ur Settings for Wireless . U can do that by clicking that ,

it will depend on whether DHCP is available. Without DHCP, you will have to configure IP, default router, and DNS settings

Please provide appropriate details while posting your question.
  • Do mention that whether a network connection is being established or not.
  • If a network connection is being established but you are unable to connect to the Internet then may be you are on a network using NAT (Network Address Translation) check whether you have entered the required IP address and DNS.
  • In this case, there is very much a possibility that you use Internet from a proxy server? If it is so then you need to enter the proxy settings in the browser.
  • If you use Internet from a direct connection then check if DHCP is selected as the default IP address selection method.
After doing these initial tests, repost with the results.

ur wifi driver is installed successfully na...
then dont worry about ur wifi driver...
if u r having adsl modem, just try to log in to the modem using we interface...
and check whether wireless broadcast is in hidden...
if so, change it to visible access point... then try to connect that signal from ur system...
if u dont want to set it as visible point then do note that wireless access id of ur modem and web key if u kept anything...
then connect it...

Are you able to connect wifi from your Airtel Modem in any other device / OS?
