$ sudo fdsik -l
Now you can see the partition table in the format like below
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 2490 20000893+ 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 2491 30401 224195077 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 2491 2739 2000061 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda6 2740 10209 60002743+ 83 Linux
$ sudo fsck -y /dev/sdaX
Here now you can replace X with the partition number.
eg : sudo fsck -y /dev/sda1
sudo fsck -y /dev/sda6
Try like this. !

i tried fsck but still the same problem as before it checked the hard
disk n corrected the i-nodes....
:) Alok i've tried that 2-3times and logged in as root but the gnome
doesn't come after that fedora cloud is completed...
at first nothing came the screen went blank then when i logged in the
next time it gave the message as :
-bash: /bin/grep : input/output error
-bash: /bin/grep : input/output error
-bash: /bin/grep : input/output error
-bash: /bin/grep : input/output error
later on it says no such command as startx also when i give a space b/
w start and x it says unknown job x
