Welcome!

Sanskriti is a family within IIT. We bring many aspects of the rich Indian culture and heritage (notably dance) to the IITB community. Presently two groups are active.

Bharatanatyam

Bharatanatyam classes are held twice a week..Satud ay at 4.30 pm and Sunday at 9.00 am. Every 2nd Saturday and the following Sunday is a holiday. Classes are held at the Staff Club (next to Gulmohar). Classes are under the supervision of Guru Padmini Radhakrishna (you can google her webpage).
Currently Bharatanatyam is OVERSUBSCRIBED.

Kuchipudi

Kuchipudi classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday - 4:30-6:00pm at the KG School by Guru M.V. Lakshmi

In the past, Kathak and Odissi and Vocal music was active.
