The time has finally arrived to announce the winners of the three Cash
Prizes and the fifty winners of the Certificate of Excellence.
Our Congratulations to all the winners!
1. However, before we announce the names, we wish to inform you that
according to our panel of judges the process of judging the winners proved
an extremely difficult task because of the excellent quality of most of the
entries. Therefore, those of you who missed out this time should not give
up hope and should continue to write. Who knows, next time it could be
you! Good luck!

2. Cheques and Certificates of Excellence will be mailed shortly. However,
some of you have still not provided us with your home (postal / mailing)
address in spite of our repeated reminders. Any of you whose name appears
above and who has still not given us your postal / mailing address, please
do so immediately by email otherwise your cheque / Certificate of Excellence
will be delayed.
3. Many of you have urged us to have the book made available as soon as
possible. Therefore, in deference to your wishes we have decided to move up
the deadline for the receipt of your order so that the Book could printed
and shipped sooner than had been previously advised. *The new *deadline
for the receipt of your confirmed order is now March 1st, 2010, and not
March 15th as was previously announced. Any orders received after March
1st will not be accepted and your Demand Draft/cheque will be returned to
you.
4. Please remember to include a Demand Draft for Rs. 1,995 made out to EPIC
LITERARY COUNCIL payable at Pune, with your order. However, if you wish to
send a crossed "A/C Payee" cheque instead of a Demand Draft, please remember
that your order will be shipped only after the cheque clears your bank.
5. Those of you who wish to have your bio data included with your poem
should add Rs. 200 to your order. Please remember to email the bio data to
allow us to 'copy & paste' with your poem.
6. The final good news is that the editors have decided to *include all the
poems in the Book* submitted by every participant.
7. Announcement of Season Two of the Poetry Contest will be made in July
2010. Please visit our web site in July for the updated information and
rules for the 2010 Contest.
Again, our congratulations to all the winners and to all the participants.
And, to all the students our very best wishes for success in your exams.
