Hi everyone,

After a quiet spell last year, Nihilanth was back this year hosted by IIM Bangalore for the 2022 edition. The fantastic sets prepared by the QMs and the hitch-free conduct of all quizzes by the folks over at IIMB made the online quizzing weekend a thoroughly enjoyable affair.

It brings me great joy to announce that IIT Bombay stood 2nd overall at Nihilanth 2022, just behind IIM Bangalore themselves and a comfortable points distance ahead of IIT Madras.

IIT Bombay sent a contingent of 9 students this year with varying team formations and degrees of participation. The results of the quizzes are as below.

General Quiz: Parth Oberoi, Preetham Upadhya and Shyam Iyer placed 1st

India Quiz: Preetham Upadhya and Navjit Debnath placed 1st

Sports Quiz: Preetham Upadhya (solo) placed 1st

Business, Science and Technology Quiz: Preetham Upadhya (solo) placed 2nd
