As per Sec 2(1)(b) of Chartered Accountants Act,1949 , Chartered Accountants means a person who is a member of ICAI. Since his name was removed in 1993 from register of member, he is not a CA from 1993 onwards. Whenever general public quote that he is a CA, we should argue that his name was removed from register of ICAI in 1993. We know he was alleged to be involved in Bombay bumb blast in 1993. We can also argue that qualification & character of person are different. A terrorist can also be an artist or a doctor or a engineer too. Media should not have highlighted that he is a CA.
Updates, CD distribution & Annual conference
1) Kolkata tribunal dissmissed appeal filled by assessee against 263 in 19 capital cases yesterday. Hence, judgement was in favour of department.
2) CBDT has notified new Income tax returns forms which are ITR-3, ITR4, ITR5 ITR-6 & ITR-7 by notification dated 29.07.15.
